Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although clean and able to open the window for fresh air, felt a bit narrow and noisy. The lovely and clean rooms were slightly let down by the extremely small bathrooms. However, the value for money was reasonable.
The hotel's rooms are basic but have everything you need with a clean, comfy bed; however, the shower room felt too small and cramped, resembling that of a car ferry. Despite the limited space, the small shower often led to a wet floor. The room could get uncomfortably hot as it was on the ground floor and leaving the window open overnight wasn't ideal.
The hotel was perfect for us due to mobility issues, with very helpful staff and a great location overlooking Queen's Dock. The room, although small, was still spacious and suitable for a short stay. The only downside was the excessively small room size.
The hotel is in a convenient location, close to the city center and with free parking. The rooms are small and basic, lacking some amenities, but overall decent for a short stay. The service was friendly and efficient. The dining options were good quality but could be more varied. The hotel's proximity to major roads may impact noise levels in some rooms.
However, the absence of a wardrobe was a bit inconvenient.
The hotel is a good option if you're not on a tight budget, offering a fun and affordable weekend getaway. The rooms might be a bit noisy due to traffic, and some are small with bunk beds that limit space. The staff is generally friendly, especially Evellyn and Sandra, but the service is no-frills. The location is convenient, within walking distance of many attractions, though sound isolation needs improvement. The dining experience, while having friendly service, could use more variety and better value for the money. Overall, a decent choice with a few drawbacks to consider.
Overall, my stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the center and Albert Dock, and the staff were friendly and efficient. However, the rooms were quite small, especially the bathroom, which was a bit tight on space for our luggage.
I had a cozy and well-equipped room but with minimal storage space. The service at the Dolby was outstanding, with a warm welcome and great attention to detail. The location was superb, close to all attractions in Liverpool. The dining experience was satisfying, offering plenty of variety. The facilities were top-notch, meeting all my needs during the stay.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were really clean and the beds were comfortable, providing a great view. Everything we needed was available, and the spotless environment was impressive. Being right next to the stairwell was convenient. However, the water in the room was occasionally too small, causing it to overflow to the toilet floor. The location was a bit further than expected, but it wasn't a deal-breaker, especially with free parking available. The dining experience was worth every penny, with a lovely one-night stay overlooking the water. The price was excellent, and the evening meal was top-notch.
The hotel was conveniently located with good access to the waterfront attractions and a short walk or £3 Uber ride into town. The rooms, although small, were adequate and the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. While the dining experience could have been better in terms of value for money, overall, I was happy with my stay.
The hotel had warm, clean, and comfortable rooms, although the bathrooms were far too small. The service was brilliant, friendly, and very helpful. The location was very convenient for accessing shops and restaurants in the city center. The dining experience was fantastic with a variety of options available. The facilities were well-maintained.
